Wonderful food and great service. Jules delivers a fine dining, pallet pleasing selection starters, main courses, desserts and wines at an affordable price.

Went to Ocean City for my Birthday and New Year Eve and happen to find this place. Reviews looked good so we made a reservation 7pm. Got there a little late (7:10 due to traffic) and they still had our table. Service was fast and food was great!

I really loved my experience here last Wednesday. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating …impressed w/ the service. She helped us out with our wine bottle choice, and we were very pleased with the selection. The Caesar salad was delicious and my steak was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

New Year’s Eve was our second visit to Jules and the second time we had fabulous food with fabulous service. This is a gem of a restaurant. It is small so reservations are the best way to go. Definitely order the coconut shrimp! Its the best in town!

Fabulous food, good wine list and terrific prix fixe. We dine here at least once every time we make a trip to OC. Good service, consistently excellent food brings us back time and again. We skip lunch and eat at the early bird dinner–three courses and a glass of wine fill us up–portions aren’t reduced for the prix fixe. A great value.

Great food. Great service. We got the chicken piccata, crab cakes and cream of soft shell (soup of the day) and all of it was spectacular. We loved this place. Large portions, even of wine. So pleased.

The food is absolutely amazing. We are total foodies and highly recommend Jules. From the drinks to the service and finally the food, 5 star experience all the way. 100% recommend.

I have been to Jules several times. The most recent was 4th of July weekend. I switch between having entrees and doing small plates. I did small plates this time. I had passed the smoke fish before. That was a big mistake. The assorted smoked fish was fantastic. They also serve soft shell crab as an appetizer portion and still serve it with the slaw and with mashed potatoes. The fried oysters were good. The coconut shrimp was excellent. We started with a Caesar salad which was very good. Everything was topped off with delicious oysters Rockefeller. Service is relaxed but that’s because food is fresh and cooked to order and they are not defrosting things they got from right food wholesaler. You need to understand that when ordering. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Ocean City and everyone I have taken there has been pleased.

We live 3 hours away and were going to be in OC the weekend of my husband’s 50th birthday. I e-mailed Chef Julius and asked him if he would help us make a very special evening for my husband by preparing a wonderful dinner celebration. He not only delivered on a spectacular dinner, but he came out and spoke with us and made sure everything was perfect. Even the menu had a nice birthday wish for the guest of honor on his birthday. Our entire party of 10 left with a full belly (servings are generous) and we all agreed the food was really out of this world. Great job Chef Julius and server Jason!

I went to Jules Restaurant the other night. I wasn’t expecting much, as the shopping center it is located in doesn’t make you think it would be. The interior is very clean, nice color and nicely lit. They had a Prix Fixe menu, 3 courses for $30. So, what the heck? Good price, should be good food. Well, the food was awesome. I had a fried green tomato with sautéed crab meet on top, and my spouse had the lobster bisque. Both were really wonderful. Next course was salads, and I got the iceberg wedge with blue cheese. It was really fresh and the blue cheese dressing was so smooth with just a bite of cayenne at the end. There was a drizzle of balsamic vinegar, cherry tomatoes, nuts, raisins, and blue cheese crumbles. It was heaven. My spouse had the house salad which was very good. Next course was the crab cake with a hint of curry, smashed potatoes, toasted coconut and cashews and roasted brussel sprouts. The other entree was the mahi mahi which was really mild and flaky, with the brussel sprouts and asparagus spears on top of the mahi mahi in a light cheese sauce. The wine selection was great, reasonably priced too. So, I was exceptionally pleased and very happy with Jules Restaurant. I definitely would go back. The waiter was also very personable and knowledgeable about the selections.

An unassuming dining room in a nondescript shopping center, Jules offers creative takes on local food. Even better, they have a great Early Bird deal, three courses with a glass of wine for about $30. Dishes celebrate local seafood, beef, and even tomatoes and corn with classic sauces and seasonings inspired by the world’s cuisine. It’s casual but feels swank enough for a low-key celebration.

I live a few blocks away from this restaurant but have never stopped in for a meal. After looking at the menu posted in the local newspaper, we decided to pay Jules a visit during Ocean City Restaurant Week. Had fresh curry seared scallops glazed with sweet chili bang bang sauce on edamame seaweed surrounded by mandarin orange ginger broth as the appetizer. It was superb. Made the mistake of allowing my wife to taste it, she ate the rest of it. Blue Ice Wedge salad was exceptional as was the Chicken Marsala with wild mushrooms. Lobster mashed potatoes with the filet mignon was also quite good. Service was also very good. We will be making a point of visiting this restaurant at least once a month going forward.

After the craziness of getting a table elsewhere. we found Jules Fine Dining to be an oasis of civility. They take reservations so are obviously serious about making the customer happy. The atmosphere is casual but comfortable. The menu provides multiple great choices. Among the dishes at our table that people raved about, were the duck, the salmon and the crab cakes with a little curry. Wonderful desserts — creme brulee and a multi-berry sherbet.

Jules is deceiving from the outside but once you get inside the story changes.
It’s an intimate setting with only around 20 tables in the entire place
The staff is the friendliest, most knowledgeable staff I’ve come across recently. They know everything about wines and the menu.
Try the Filet Mignon. It’s the best steak I have had in years (steak house or otherwise)
Be ready to spend around $100/couple for dinner and drinks. Don’t worry, it’s worth it.
It is not near the main tourist area, but don’t sweat the location. The experience is worth it on its own.

My wife and I went there for an appetizer since we had had a late lunch. We sat at the bar.

We had the oysters Rockefeller and the arugula salad. Both were excellent. I didn’t expect such a large or great salad.
The female bartender was friendly and we had a nice conversation about restaurants in the area. 9 months ago someone told us this is the best restaurant in town. We agree. -
Not a tourist restaurant. Not just run of the mill shrimp, steak, crab cake. Although they have that. Fine food, well prepared, good value. Food and service is always consistent. We live local and Jules is always on our list to eat out.

Who knew? Our friends suggested Jules for dinner on our Ocean City weekend escape, and they said although the location was not fancy, the food was worth the trip. Boy, were they right.
Review from Tripadvisor by acdcusa, 5/28/2013
Although tucked away in a shopping strip off the main Ocean City boulevard, the service and the food were top notch. Filet mignon for two of us, and fresh fish for the other two, with a nice bottle of Pinot noir. Though the space itself was fine, the location of the restaurant in a strip mall might throw you off. Venture in, you will not be disappointed! -
Food was delicious (try the Fried Green Tomatoes). Service was excellent. Thank You Jason. Wonderful experience. I highly recommend Jules.

Every year we take a Thursday night to have a romantic dinner for just the two of us on our family/friends week vacation in OC. This year I just happened upon Jules when out walking collecting menus along Coastal Highway.
Review from Yelp by Joseph, 8/24/2012
I knew when I entered Jules that this was just what we were looking for, and the people that were just opening for the evening could not have been nicer.
Thursday night we made an 8 o’clock reservation and headed on up. After ordering a lemonade and a granny smith martini (both which were perfect) we decide on our fare for the night.
Lisa ordered the Ensalda Caprese salad to start and the Shrimp and Grits which for as funny as it sounds was spectacular with it’s gravy and andouille sausage.
I went with the Julius’ Caesar salad with pine nuts and grated asiago for starters then the Grilled Filet Mignon which came with a blue cheese butter on a bed of caramelized onions and mushrooms and mashers. It was one of the most tender cuts of meat I have ever gotten and at one point I was cutting off pieces with my fork.
Warm dinner rolls at the beginning and a nice cup of coffee at the end made for the perfect dinner.
Thanks to all at Jules for a great night, John who took care of us and our most sincere complements to the chef. -
Very good, excellent and attentive employees. Their dishes are unique and quiet large.
I highly recommend the pork belly, whole red snapper and bread pudding for dessert.

Superb restaurant…. Don’t let the strip mall location fool you. Creative eclectic menu. Had a whole sea bass prepared with hoisin sauce and wasabi mashed potatoes. Very well done. Tomato corn crab soup was delicious. Krispy kreme bread pudding was light and flavorful. Highly recommend.

Returned to Jules and was impressed even more than on my visit last year. If it was possible to give Jules six stars I would! The help was friendly, efficient yet unobtrousive. The early bird special is the bargin of the centruy. For $30 you get a glass of wine, app., salad, and entree. I had the coconut shrimp, blue chesse wedge salad and filet. All were excellent. In a beach town that is a little too casual, at Jules you can put on your more spiffy summer outfits and enjoy being dressed up. The combination of food, efficient staff, and atmosphere add up to a wonderful experience.
